Architects Massimo Gnocchi and Paolo Danesi meet during their studies, sharing the same passion and philosophy that will lead in collaborating together on several projects including co-founding The Mountain Refuge, which will become one of the most popular prefab tiny-home designs, and the production of which kicks off in Fall 2021 in Europe.

Born in March 1986, attends master degree in Architectural Design in Polytechnic University of Milan. Works 5 years as designer and visualizer in Milan, then starts his own architectural firm at the beginning of 2020 along with developing other projects.

Europe 40 under 40 Nominee, Architect Massimo Gnocchi has recently reorganized his studio (massimognocchi.com). Founder of the popular 3D marketplace CGMood, he is focusing on entrepreneurship, architecture and teaching.

Paolo Danesi

Architect and co-founder

Paolo was born in Brescia in 1985 in a craftsman family. After university, he begins working in Italy and moves to Tokyo after a few years, where he worked in international companies such as Nikken Sekkei and Kengo Kuma.

Architect Paolo Danesi recently moves to Hokkaido, Japan, where opens his architectural firm HPDAtelier. They focus on design and project management. Paolo will also be giving his contribute to the Expo 2025 Osaka.
